Pěnička

„A raw, dark fusion of post-punk and alternative grunge from the heart of Europe that is driven almost completely without drums, using a shifting lineup of guitars, piano, saxophone, and clarinet.“ The story of Pěnička began spontaneously in 2021 as a dynamic two-piece project. Helena was performing as a wild, solo singer-songwriter on a small festival's side stage. During a break, Vojta walked up to her out of nowhere, holding a saxophone, and asked if he could jam along. The resulting set was pure, unadulterated madness—and both instantly knew they couldn't let that chaotic magic slip away. Pěnička is now anomaly on the European alternative scene. The project has changed to a multi-instrumental composition, but still about two people Helena (vocals, guitar, piano) and Vojta (saxophone, guitar, clarinet, bass).
